Safeguarding
“Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility” – KCSiE 2026
At Thomas Ashton School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every student feels valued, respected, and protected from harm.
All staff receive regular child protection and safeguarding training to ensure they can recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and help keep our students safe. This ongoing training enables staff to understand current safeguarding issues and provides them with the knowledge and confidence to support students effectively and take appropriate action when concerns arise.
